Vince Taormina attended the Missouri Women's Justice Awards, a banquet celebrating women across the legal profession.
On May 12, 2022, Vince Taormina attended the Missouri Women's Justice Awards. The ceremony honors women from across the legal profession who "demonstrate leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice, and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession.
Awards were granted to women across various aspects of the legal profession. And this year's Woman of the Year was awarded to Judge Lisa White Hardwick of the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District. Judge Hardwick is the first Black woman appointed to the Missouri Appeals Court and was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to co-chair the Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness following the Ferguson protests.
At the ceremony, Vince had the honor of sharing a table with Missouri Supreme Court Judge Mary Russell (seated), Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District Judge Robert Clayton (also seated), St. Louis County Circuit Court Judge Stanley Wallach, and former Executive Director for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis Zoe Linza.
