For clients who own multiple properties, drafting and recording deeds if essential to ensure that the properties are either funded in a trust or properly designated to beneficiaries. However, because there is an expense in finding the deed, drafting the deed, and recording the deed, The Taormina Firm does charge an additional $250 per deed (except for a deed for a client's primary residence). We are more than happy to draft and record additional deeds as necessary. Please be aware that while we charge a flat fee for most of our estate planning, additional deeds beyond the primary residence are extra. So do not be surprised if your total invoice is higher as a result of you owning multiple properties.
